After more than 54,500 Print Editions, lights out?


One-hundred and forty-nine years, 10 months and four days have passed since the first publication of the Rocky Mountain News.
In that time the Rocky has printed more than 54,500 editions.

It came into being on a dark night two years before the Civil War's first gunshots, survived a flood that washed away its press and countless threats to its very existence, then enjoyed, in the twilight of its life, recognition as one of the best newspapers in the country.

NZ Wine Exports to Hong Kong up 48%!

Re past trade they say..... In 2007, Hong Kong imported 20 million litres of wine from around the world, a 28% increase on the previous year (excluding sparkling wine). Ever wondered about the real day application of "toys"

Playmobil Security Check Point: Toys & Games Just in case you thought toys were starting to get boring.......but the best is the comments left.... .....5 year old son pointed out that the passenger's shoes cannot be removed. Then, we placed a deadly fingernail file underneath the passenger's scarf, and neither the detector doorway nor the security wand picked it up. My son said "that's the worst security ever!". But it turned out to be okay, because when the passenger got on the Playmobil B757 and tried to hijack it, she was mobbed by a couple of other heroic passengers, who only sustained minor injuries in the scuffle, which were treated at the Playmobil Hospital.
